Personal data.

Accordingly, WebBoard may collect and use personal information about your usage of the Service (and use such information) for: (i) its legitimate business purposes, provided that such information will not personally identify you or any end-user; (ii) keep a database of users of the Service and slice and dice data obtained therefrom; and (iii) create and display browsing and consumption preferences profiles of you and other users, charts, aggregated statistics and databases and other data. Additionally, when you use our applications on your mobile device, the default settings may allow for the collection of certain personally identifiable information, such as the unique identification number associated with your mobile device, mobile carrier, device type/manufacturer, phone number, and, when authorized by you, your geographical location data.

Collecting Information

We ask for the user’s first name, last name and e-mail address when registering on WebBoard or signing up for the WebBoard newsletter. If a user chooses to register via a social network, we may collect name of the user if that is provided by the specific social network.

Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected. If it is not identified, than the purpose is for sending important information via email about the updates of the application. These emails can be stopped at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in the email itself. We will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.

Only WebBoard employees and user itself have access to user’s personal information.

We will only retain personal information for a period of time when user actively uses WeBoard.io page or reads our newsletters. In the case that user doesn’t delete its account or unsubscribes from receiving newsletters personally, we will delete all personal information about inactive users after 6 months of inactivity.

Cookie policy

We use cookies when you are logged in so that we can remember this fact. This prevents you from having to log in every single time you visit a new page. These cookies are typically removed or cleared when you log out to ensure that you can only access restricted features and areas when logged in.

This site uses Google Analytics which is one of the most widespread and trusted analytics solution on the web for helping us to understand how you use the site and ways that we can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit so we can continue to produce engaging content. Storing and protecting Information

Any information collected through the Service is stored and processed on our servers located in the United States. If you use our Service outside of the Croatia, you consent to have your data transferred to the Croatia.

We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We are actively working on ensuring security and confidentiality of user data (by using encrypted communication and following other security best practices). If an unauthorised release of data on our site happens (during hacker or other software attack) we will notify all our users as soon as we acknowledge the leak of the data. For legal guardian to be notified, we recommend his or hers signup to be notify in the case of data leakage.

Your options of managing data

We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.


All data we receive from the user can be reviewed and changed on the request of the user or his/hers legal guardian in the user’s account details.

All users data can be deleted on the request of the educational institution or organization in which the user is using WebBoard, user’s parent, legal guardian or the user himself. To erase all users data from WebBoard, one can delete his or hers account by going to the account details and clicking the red "Delete account" button.

Sharing information

All users data on https://web-whiteboard.io or any of it's subdirectories is not in the property of the software on any electronic service contractor.

We may share information with those that provide us with technology services (e.g. web hosting and analytics services), but strictly for the purpose of carrying out their work for us.

We may be required to share information with law enforcement or other third parties when compelled to do so by court order or other legal process, to comply with statutes or regulations, to enforce our Terms of Use, or if we believe in good faith that the disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users.

Personal Information and other data we collect may be transferred to another company that has acquired our stock or assets, for example, as a result of a sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or liquidation.

Under no circumstances should we share personal information of our users with other third parties than that mentioned above. This include advertising agencies, distributors, resellers, affiliates and ambassadors.

Compliances

WebBoard supports Children Online Privacy Protection Act of 1996. (COPPA) and does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 unless the School has obtained appropriate parental consent for the student to use the Service. When registering on WeBoardapp.com user must confirm that he or she is over 13. Please contact us at info@weboard.io if you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information of a child under 13 without proper parental consents so that we may delete such data as soon as possible.

Accessibility statement

WebBoard is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

This website endeavors to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user-friendly for all people.

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.

Whilst WebBoard strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, we can’t predict the extent of the app functionality in all existing browsers. To be sure that you are using the fully functional service, we encourage you to use one the two browsers: Chrome or Firefox.
